Many of our WACC programs utilize the internet
for various activities. If you prefer that your son or daughter not
use the internet while in our buildling, please call Kim Purvis
(815-626-5810), the Assistant Director and let her know your request.
Likewise, many of our programs use pictures and videos of students to
advertise and praise the accomplishment of our students. Again, if you
wish that your son or daughter not be included in any media
productions, please call Kim Purvis, the Assistant Director and let her
know your request.
The staff at WACC is looking forward to a fantastic year with your child!

Welcome back!! WACC is off to a great start to another new and exciting school year. We have added two new staff members to the WACC staff. First, Ellen Howard is our new commercial Food Service teacher. Mrs. Howard was the manager of the Rock Falls High School cafeteria for approximately 30 years. She has also worked for Emerald Hill in the area of food service, and has a variety of catering experiences. Second, Gerald Winger is the new Student Service Coordinator at WACC. Mr. Winger has over 30 years experience teaching at Rock Falls High School, as well as several years working as a high school recruiter for Sauk Valley Community College. We are excited to have Mrs. Howard and Mr. Winger on board for the 2010-2011 school year. It is going to be a fantastic year at the Whiteside Area Career Center!
